Extremely rare British made \"Meico\" vintage dynamic microphone in fine working condition. You don\'t see them often and you don\'t hear them anymore at all. But this particular item which is offered here for sale is the extremely rare exception. It works perfectly and produces an unearthly deep sound, full of resonance and volume. It is said that this giant was used as announcer in boxing matches but you will not do wrong if you think of Trafalgar Square, say, or the Red Square, if you prefer, with all that crowd... It is a very impressive item and it comes with the original cast-iron green and heavy tripod. The head can be removed from the stand and hand-held. The overall cosmetic condition is good, with loss of chrome which exposes underneath a beautiful patinated copper, and with scratches here and there. Never saw one of these before and probably will never see it again. That that it is preserved in working condition is of utmost rarity
